ON ARRIVAL

If you’re driving from Lafayette, we are on the right-hand side of Cameron Street, just before Scott, LA. If you are leaving Scott, heading towards Lafayette, we are located about ½ mile out of Scott on the left-hand side of Cameron St. If you’re on Interstate 10, take the Scott exit and head South. At the roundabout turn right and continue down towards Highway 90. Turn left (East) and we are approximately 1½ miles down the street on the left-hand side. Turn down the main driveway and head straight to the back for ferrous material, or alternatively turn left from the main driveway into the non-ferrous warehouse.

A photo of the person selling or delivering scrap metal
A thumbprint of the person selling or delivering scrap metal
Current identification with a current utility bill.

Getting
Paid

Cash payment on most materials up to $300 per day, per individual. Louisiana State Law prohibits Scrap Recyclers from paying cash for copper (insulate and bare), aluminum / copper radiators and other regulated items (see disclaimer) unless the individual has a business license and the material being sold is a byproduct of that business. If there isn’t a valid business license, payment will be made via check, payable to the individual selling the material. Louisiana State Law also requires a 5 day hold on these payments. At the completion of the 5 day hold the check will be mailed to the address listed on the ID of the individual that sold the material.
