Upon entry into EMR- New Orleans you will notice our company signage directing customers into the yard and visitors towards the administrative building. For customers the first thing you will notice on your left is our cashier’s office where you will ultimately receive your payment. The next building you will see is our security office, if this is your first time on the facility or you are unsure of where you need to deliver he will direct you to the proper gate.
Gate 2 is the entrance for our Non-Ferrous Metal warehouse and we have 2 methods of serving in this department. We have an express lane with 2 elevated platform scales for quick service and also a large truck scale for large loads that need to be unloaded into our provided hoppers or mechanically unloaded with our material handler. We also service end of life vehicles from this location. 
Next is Gate 3, this is our ship breaking facility and does not buy from the public.  Gate 4 is the entrance for the shredder and ferrous departments. Straight ahead you will see an entrance and exit scales here is where you will weigh in and out if you have shreddable material and/or prepared/unprepared items. Gate 5 is our Marine Recovery Facitly where we dismantle barges and provide heavy lift services. You will be directed to this gate if your load is oversized or overweight.
